About

November 30th, 2007

I always have trouble with the about me section of a web site. It isn’t that I don’t know who I am, just that I forget to update this section as I change. I have far to many hobbies that continually change. Some times once I’ve learned something, I am no longer interested. Other times, I keep this skill as I learn newer things. I’ve learned to play the guitar, but fell seriously out of practice. I love to cook, am an avid reader, have dabbled in film making, photography, and many other pursuits. I enjoy woodworking and am teaching myself metal working. I haven’t been riding bicycles as much as I want to. I need to get a tandem that my girlfriend and I can ride together, as our speeds are very different.
I’m a programmer by day job, previously with a consulting company, now at an insurance company. The change made my hours more predictable and allowed me time to pursue all of those things listed above.

I’ve finally reloaded my web site with a database driven article system. Once I convert my old articles to the new system, I hope to publish entries in a consistent rate. Possibly I’ll keep this page up to date as well. Stranger things have happened.
