Recipe - Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies
February 23rd, 2008
Amy found this recipe and tried it for our United Way bake sale at work. It is the first chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever seen with pudding in the mix.
- 4.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cup butter, softened
- 1.5 cups packed brown sugar
- 2 (3.4 oz) packages vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)
Preheat over to 350 degrees F.
Sift together the flour and baking soda and set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Combine with pudding mix until well blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in flour mixture. Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
Dip in milk. Enjoy.
